We will show you things you have never seen!

We have had a really great time in Rome although it was very exhausting.

Vincenzo, from Accessible Italian Holiday, arranged the hotel and the taxi for the transfer from and to the Rome Fiumicino Airport.

It was really well organized. Jon and I are both in a wheelchair, so it is important that the hotel is very accessible.

This means enough space for both wheelchairs next to the bed, roll-in shower with seat, crab rails and bed and toilet heights 50 cm.

Hotel LR04 fulfill all our needs. The hotel has two accessible rooms. We got the room outside at the back of the hotel so we have our ‘own place’ and we don’t have to use the ( small ) elevator every day.

The hotel crew was also very helpful and kind.

First day, when we arrived lately, they order the best pizza we ever had!

The only minus point of the hotel was the noise of the water kettle above the room in the early morning.

We have visited all the hotspots of Rome. We did everything by electric wheelchair and handbike ( Jon ).

From the hotel most of the time we took the February road to Castle St Angelo and take the St Angelo bridge to the crowded city ( Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps ).

Or visiting Vatican City, we saw also the Sistine Chapel ( we thought it was not accessible but it was! ).

We biked also to the Colosseum! The elevator brings us up so we enjoy the view and ‘the glory’ of past times.

Rome is a beautiful city, we enjoyed our trip and we recommend it to everybody who has enough energy!
